LD's?
Wow. Today I found out I might have some learning disabilities. ADD, dsylexia, dysphraxia (however you spell that) and maybe a few others.
They make total sense too! No wonder I have a hard time concentrating on my psi skills. I have fricking ADD!
I hope I can figure out a way to do better at school before I hit college. Sheesh, I need some help. Weird thing is, so I've got learning disabilities, doesn't make me feel stupid. It just makes me feel all disorganized and crap. So I'd like to say that there is a common misconception w/ people w/ LD's; just because we have LD's doesnt mean we're stupid! There are a lot of people that have LD's: Einstein, Da Vinci, Mozart, Beethoven, Whoopi, Robin, JFK, RFK, Walt Disney, John Lennon, Cher, Galileo, Winston Churchill, the Wright Bros. There are tons of people.
So that list doesn't make me feel so bad lol. =)

Hrmm, must say I was mislead by the title, thought the LD stood for "Lucid Dreaming". No matter though, i'll toss in my two cents for whatever their worth.
Well learning disabilities, they are obstacles to overcome really, as you noted some of the great minds have had them and became better for it, because they didn't let it stop them, most likely pushed on to prove a point to the others. Just because you have a LD doesnt mean your stupid, it just means you may have a harder time getting it then others, though sometimes it means you can learn more, people with ADD often find themselves looking and reading up on tons of things to catch their interest at that moment. Sure you may not have gained the prowess in one field as "John Q. Public" over there but you gained all the starter knowledge bases in a bunch of others.
Don't see this as a hinderance but as a goal to overcome, also for the disorganized thing, heh well my room is a contradiction of that. You walk in and it looks like a tornado hit, but I can pick out any item I need from it, just has the illusion of disorganization. So just remember, just because it looks or feels like its disorganized, doesnt mean you cant have it organized but not tamper with things.

ya im trying to organize my mind, its just real hard. i dont think...im tampering with things, so i guess im ok. =)
