It's Been a While

Sheesh. I haven't been able to get online for about a week! My computer crashed on me and I haven't been able to gain access to the other computers until now. So I decided I would drop by and just say that just in case you were wondering where rican was. (lol)
Well I don't have much else to write today, so hopefully I can come up w/ a good post and I'll get back to you all.

A Guide to Pinging

Today I decided I would make a guide. Though it took me a while to finally figure out what I would write a guide of, then BOOM it hit me! I decided I would write one about pinging. I know PsiPog has got their own, but I haven't read it and all of this is from personal experience. So I decided I would just do it anyway.
Well first let's start with a definition. What is pinging? It is telepathically sending information to others, whether human or animal, or anything else you amange to send pings to.
Why ping? Well what if you took a trip to the Rockies, got lost, had not way to contact anyone (cellphones, etc.) but knew where (coordinates) but was too injured to travel? Well you would ping your coordinates to your best buddy that just so happened to be apart of teh rescue squad and would come to your rescue!!
Yes this is an EXTREME example, but honestly, its implications are ENDLESS.
So let's get to pinging. First, you must identify the object, person, whatever, you wish to send the ping. Envision the receiver in your head and try to open a connection between you and the receiver. It is usually easier to send a ping to a receiver in which you are very familiar with; a twin sister/brother, best friend (human, animal), etc.
Now envision what you want to ping. It could be an emotion, an image, a video, even a message in english (or any other language you want, usually one the receiver understands though). Keep the ping strong in your mind and make sure you establish it before you try to ping because if not you'll ping absolute jibberish. This happens to me sometimes. If the ping in my mind isn't clear, then it becomes a very ineffective ping. What I mean by ineffective, I mean it's worthless because the receiver has no idea what you're trying to do (if the receiver understands and realizes you are sending them a ping). So make sure you have your ping well established.
Now feel the connection between you and the receiver and make it as strong as you like. Envision yourself sending the ping through the connection. You can imagine it to be a phone line or something along that concept. If you're not a very visual person, then don't envision anything at all. Concentrate on the feelings associated. Feel the connect, the ping leaving you, the receiver getting the ping. The more senses, ways you can incorporate, the better and more profitient you'll be at the skill.
If you have any questions let me know. Tell me if the guide sucks, tell me if it rocks. I wanna try and help the best way I can.

Guide to Change

NOTE: The key is w/ this method is that it more effective, you stay truer to your goal, and it is quicker. Granted it may STILL take months to achieve, but it may take a few months less than the other method you were using.

So over the last few weeks I realized something that WILL help a lot of people out. Most everyone is trying to change something about them, whether it be certain personality traits (patience, compassion), certain physical traits (weightloss/gain, athletic capabilities) or psionic skills (RV, PK, Empathy, etc). Everyone has found different levels of difficulty when trying to achieve certain goals they have placed on themselves and what a lot of people do is FORCE the change. Forcing change becomes an ineffective because it surpresses what you are trying to change and eventually it builds and boils over.
Let me use an example to illustrate my point. Let's say you are a psion and you want to learn focus so you can see better results from your practices. By forcing yourself to focus, you don't allow your subconscious to realize why it needs to focus and most of the time (depending on who), you don't even achieve the focus you want. Eventually you'll get to the point where you can't keep focus anymore and everything you've worked for goes down the drain and you go back to how you were. Instead of forcing yourself to focus, rationalize in your head why you need to stay focus. Usually your mind will doubt why you want to focus when you are trying to because it is trying to understand why. Give it a rational and logical reason why it should, instead of surpressing it.
It will take time depending on who and what you are trying to achieve, but when giving your mind consistant rational reason to do whatever it is you are trying, you will eventually reach your goal a lot quicker than just forcing yourself to achieve your goal.

LD's?

Wow. Today I found out I might have some learning disabilities. ADD, dsylexia, dysphraxia (however you spell that) and maybe a few others.
They make total sense too! No wonder I have a hard time concentrating on my psi skills. I have fricking ADD!
I hope I can figure out a way to do better at school before I hit college. Sheesh, I need some help. Weird thing is, so I've got learning disabilities, doesn't make me feel stupid. It just makes me feel all disorganized and crap. So I'd like to say that there is a common misconception w/ people w/ LD's; just because we have LD's doesnt mean we're stupid! There are a lot of people that have LD's: Einstein, Da Vinci, Mozart, Beethoven, Whoopi, Robin, JFK, RFK, Walt Disney, John Lennon, Cher, Galileo, Winston Churchill, the Wright Bros. There are tons of people.
So that list doesn't make me feel so bad lol. =)
